Aberdare Cables attends Africa Energy Indaba 2026

Aberdare Cables proudly participated in the dynamic Africa Energy Indaba, which took place at the prestigious Cape Town International Convention Center from March 3 to March 5, 2026. This vibrant three-day event showcased 112 exhibition stands, highlighting the latest innovations and solutions in the energy sector. The indaba drew an impressive crowd of over 4,300 attendees from 37 African countries, facilitating meaningful discussions and networking opportunities among industry leaders, policymakers, and enthusiasts passionate about advancing energy initiatives across the continent.

Aberdare Cables proudly showcased an extensive range of products, including high-quality cables and accessories. This major event provided an exceptional platform offering an opportunity to engage with a diverse array of customers and industry professionals from various regions around the world, allowing us to highlight our innovative solutions and technological advancements.

The stand drew significant interest from a wide variety of attendees, including business owners seeking reliable energy solutions, existing customers looking to deepen their partnerships, competitors observing market trends, new prospects exploring potential collaborations, and eager students interested in the energy sector. This impressive turnout facilitated meaningful conversations and networking opportunities, ultimately assisting in building new connections and strengthening existing relationships. Additionally, the event greatly boosted brand visibility across Africa and beyond.

One of the standout features of our booth was the famous copper challenge, which captivated the attention of many visitors. Participants got the chance to test their luck in a fun and engaging game, with the opportunity to win exciting prizes, generating an energetic atmosphere at the stand.

A particularly memorable moment was the visit from the Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy in South Africa, Samantha Jane Graham-Maré, along with her team. The team was honored to have her take the time to visit Aberdare Cables’ stand, where she expressed sincere interest in our product offerings, especially in relation to the upcoming energy projects scheduled for South Africa. During her visit, the Deputy Minister interacted enthusiastically with the Aberdare team, asking insightful questions and sharing thoughts on industry developments. Her participation in the copper challenge further exemplified her engagement, and her presence undoubtedly enhanced the overall experience for all attendees. This interaction was not only an honor but also an invaluable opportunity to discuss the future of the energy sector in South Africa and how Aberdare Cables can contribute to its growth.
